Johann von Goisern is not a fashion label. We work quietly, precisely, in small batches – for people who see more in eyewear than an accessory.
Our workshop sits in Bad Goisern, Austria, since 1988. What we do grows out of the region: clean shapes from the Salzkammergut, strong acetate stripes as an optical signature, careful handwork on every joint.
Origin, on purpose.
We could produce more cheaply. We choose not to. Every frame passes through more than forty steps, most of them by hand. The polish is our fingerprint. The fit on your nose is our benchmark.
